Rev. E. Rhiannon Hood, D. Div.

Rev. Hood is an Interfaith Ordained Minister and is the Founder of Tidewater Spiritual Congregation in Norfolk, Virginia.

Born in Salem, Massachusetts, she began her training as a child in her Italian-based Family Tradition and has continued her training over 40+ years.

She began work in Religious Anti-Discrimination in 1997.

Her first Ordination came in 1999 from the Temple of Everlasting Life, Long Island, New York. 

Formerly based out  Rochester, New York, she relocated to Virginia in late 2003, and became registered to perform Marriages in the Commonwealth of Virginia in 2004. She currently not only teaches students in her Spiritual Elementalist-Based Tradition, but offers community-based Clergy services to several local hospitals and police departments as well as serving as a contact point for the US Navy Chaplain Corps.

She began studies in energy work in 1989 and received her first Reiki Attunements in 1999. She became a Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryoho Tradition in 2008.

She has one daughter, aged 23, and has worked extensively with the handicapped. She is a former Virginia Certified EMT-B, and volunteers at both the American Red Cross as a Case Worker  and at a local Rescue Squad.

She is married to a US Navy Veteran, and serves as Clergy and advocate full-time while running Tidewater Spiritual Congregation. Over the fourteen years that Tidewater Spiritual Congregation has been active, she has trained and Ordained other local Ministers who currently assist her with her work.
